MIKOV Skalica spol. s r.o.

MIKOV Skalica is a family company, founded in 1998 by a father and two sons. For the first 7 years of its existence it operated as an association of natural persons, in January 2005 it was transformed into a limited liability company.

In the early years of the company we were in rented premises. The main activity was metal production. We produced various metal parts for construction, garden furniture and various metal decorative items.

In 2002, we started the construction of our own production plant in the industrial zone in Skalica with a focus on pressing and assembly. The construction took place in two stages. The first stage was built in 2002 and the second stage was completed in 2007.

Gradually, we started to focus more on forming technology – pressing, where we moved from various metal parts for the construction industry to the production of more precise parts for the textile, furniture, electrical and automotive industries. Of the total production, about 90% is exported to European Union countries and Switzerland.

The company has grown during its existence and currently employs 19 employees.

We have been ISO 9001:2008 certified since December 2007 and ISO 9001:2015 certified since 2016
